NOTES: Every position player for the Sox got a hit, in fact, George Scott was the only one with just one safety. Yastrzemski is experiencing a power shortage, not having homered since July 4. Dave McNally hopes to never see the Sox again. Second time in a week he has gotten shelled, giving up 15 runs in just 5 innings pitched. On the bright side, Wally Bunker relieved in both games and allowed just one run in 10 innings.
