An old fashioned slobber knocker broke out at Cominsky in game 1 of a twi-night doubleheader. The Indians sent 10 to the plate in the top of the 3rd scoring 6 culminating in a grand slam by Ver Fuller staking Sudden Sam to a big lead….Which he almost gave all back as the Pale Hose sent 10 of their own in a rally featuring a pair of two run homers. Max Alvis increased the lead the very next inning which was matched three innings later by the Sox. But the Tribe put the Chisox out of their misery with a three run blast by Jose’ Azcue securing the opener for the visitors.
