STARTING PITCHERS

Dave Morehead whiffed Horace Clarke to open the game and before he came up for air, the Yanks plated 7 capped off by a rare Ruben Amaro home run. But the Bosox are not the best team in the league for nothing, putting up 5 run to sneak close as Steve Barber struggled to last long enough to qualify for a win. It became a one run game by the end of the 7th but that would be as close as the Sox got, as the Yanks snagged the victory.
