Scoreless through the first four, the Cleveland club eked out a run through the generosity of an error. They added three more thru really hard hit balls. The lead expanded to 6-1 but homers by Harmon Killebrew and Bob Allison made it a one run game in the last of the 9th but the Tribe held in to take the front end of the double dip.
