Senators grabbed a quick 1-0 lead off Tommy John but the Southsiders quickly erased the deficit sending 10 men to the plate while putting up a five spot off Dick Bosman who was making his season debut. By the 5th the Capital boys evened the game setting the stage for Ken McMullen who doubled in the winning runs.
