The White Sox batted around in the 3rd off Bob Priddy putting up a three spot that erased an early Senator lead. The Pale hose upped the lead to 5-1 which came in handy when Frank Howard pinch hit a two run blast, chasing Joe Horlen from the game. Bob Locker came on to shut the door.
