The series finale sees the Twins trying to stave of a unique five game sweep. To that end, the Twinkies put up 4 on Denny McLain in the early innings and were poised to finally find the win column. But then the 4th inning happened and Dave Boswell made one fateful pitch to Norm Cash who made no mistake tying the game. Three innings later Jom Northrup sounded the death knell giving the Bengals the win.
