Our two southpaws traded shutout innings through five before the Twins nicked Steve Barber for a pair of runs. Rich Rollins booted a grounder that let the Yankees cut the lead in half. But Kaat and Al Worthington kept the home club at bay thus securing the opener of this double dip.
