NOTES: Huge game for Pete Ward who drive in a season high 6 in the game. Ward teamed up with newly acquired Ken Boyer and Rocky Colavito for 9 hits (9-13). Another strong start for Wilbur Wood who actually got rewarded with the victory. Seems like Tom Phoebus is either hot or cold as this was the 4th time he had given up 6 or more runs in a start. Eddie Fisher has list his knuckles, having been scored on in his last 4 games and 7 of the last 8. On the bright side, the Birds pitchers have been awesome with the bat, going 6-13 so far this week
