The nightcap of the double dip turned out to be a marathon of 15 innings. A tie game thru 6 thanks to a Yaz dinger, the Twins opened up a big lead on a Zolio Versalles homer. But the Sox roared back with 4 to take the lead sending 9 to the plate. Rich Reese pinch hit a homer to it into overhead when a Twins miscue gifted the Six the win and sweep.
