The Bosox erupted for foyer runs off Jim Kaat in the 6th erasing a 2-0 deficit. Joe Foy and Tony Conigliaro had the big blows to establish the lead. The Twins fought back coming within one run twice, and had the bases loaded off Johnny Wyatt but Rich Rollins could not play the hero, meekly flying out to center to end the game.
