NOTES: Gary Peters gave up just two hits, unfortunately both went yard. He had not given up a hit before Wilson schooled him. Ken Berry’s walk off was his first since July 2nd. Pinch hitter par excellence is having a very tough year, stuck in an 0-21 hole and hasn’t had a hit in two months. Al Kaline returned to the lineup going 0-3 with a walk. Jerry Lumpe picked up his team leading 7th pinch hit, batting .318 in that role.
