The Halo 3 thru 5 hitters went 9-13 in the game. Bubba Morton had four hits, Skowron three, Held a pair. Morton has thrived in being platooned with Jimmie Hall batting g .321 since it had been implemented. Tortoise Russ Nixon legged out his third triple. Harmon Killebrew added to his league leading RBI total despite a horrendous July. As has Jim Merritt who is 0-2 with a 5.64 ERA.
