NOTES: Harmon Killebrew collected his league leading 70th RBI with his legs, and plenty of help from the keystone combo of Knoop and Fregosi. Bob Allison was perfect at the plate going 4-4. Johnny Werhas shook off a season long slump going 3-3 and a walk getting both his first extra base hit and first RBI. Minnie Rojas took a hard luck loss as a sure fire double play ball did not get him out of the inning.
