NOTES: Jose Cardenal had 5 straight hits in the doubleheader, two after coming on as a pinch hitter in game 1 then three to start game 2. Fregosi also had a three hit game. Tom Satriano attained for his run s orang miscue in the 7th by taking Ron Kline deep with a man on, cancelling the two runs the Twins scored. Harmon Killebrew added to his league lead in RBI’s in game 1. Mudcat Grant had another rough outing, the early season magic having disappeared.
