Cleveland looks to close out their trip to Disney with another win while the Halo‘s try to get off the schneid. Veteran Gary Bell takes on neophyte Jim McGlothlin, their prize young hurler. McGlothlin made the Tribe believers of his ability only allowing a hit and two free passes in the first 8 innings. Gary Bell did not fare as well. He got the side in order in the 1st but three consecutive singles greeted him in the 2nd giving the home team the lead, Cardenal driving in the run. Top 3 came unraveled after 2 outs when Bell walked Jay Johnstone. Rick Reichardt followed with a single bring Don Mincher to the plate. Big Don did what he was aquired for, driving a moon shot into the right center bleachers making the score 4-0. Cardenal followed with a three bagger off the rattled righty jogging home on a single by Buck Rodgers. A walk, a hit batsman and an error provided the Angels their final run. McGlothlin entered the 9th looking for the shutout but was denied when Chuck Hinton homered, closing out the scoring at 6-2. Angels put one in the left column while the visitors fall to 1-2.
